About The Position

The Jamestown Clinic is looking for a nurse to join their team in a full time role! This role will work with various age groups and diagnosis. Utilizes team nursing with a very dependable and cohesive group. Apply your scope of practice to its fullest with the vast amount of skills utilized with the populations we serve. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencolored RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications.
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
  • Currently holds an unencolored Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
  • Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
  • Address inquiries via phone and MyChart messaging.
  • Provide patient and family education.
  • Utilize nursing and assessment skills.
  • Adhere to triage protocols.
