RN or LPN Surgical Inpatient FT Nights
About The Position
Seeking Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse for Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Inpatient Unit. This is a full-time position (36 Hours Weekly) on nights (7pm-7am). The Surgical Inpatient Services (SIPS) is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients. LPNs and RNs on this unit work with a variety of surgical patients including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and care for higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician’s office. SIPS is a wonderful unit for New Graduate LPNs and RNs who want exposure to a wide variety of patients.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license
- BLS for Healthcare provider required
Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge
- Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers
