Nursing Assistant Surgical Inpatient FT Nights
About The Position
Seeking Nursing Assistant! Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Inpatient Unit. This role is full-time (36 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am) and benefit eligible. The Nursing Assistant, under general supervision and according to established procedures, functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The SIPS unit is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients, including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician’s office.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred
