RN or LPN Surgical Inpatient FT Nights
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse for its Surgical Inpatient Unit (SIPS). This is a full-time night position (36 hours weekly, 7pm-7am) and is benefit eligible. The RN or LPN will be responsible for providing direct comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The SIPS unit is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients, including those undergoing total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions from the emergency room or physician's offices. It is described as a wonderful unit for New Graduate LPNs and RNs seeking exposure to a wide variety of patients. Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license
- BLS for Healthcare provider required
Responsibilities
