RN or LPN Surgical Inpatient FT Nights
About The Position
Seeking Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse for the Surgical Inpatient Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position working 36 hours weekly on the night shift (7pm-7am). This role is benefit-eligible and experienced external candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. In this role, the RN or LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. Surgical Inpatient Services (SIPS) is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients, including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions from the emergency room or a physician’s office. SIPS is a suitable unit for New Graduate LPNs and RNs seeking exposure to a wide variety of patients.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license
- BLS for Healthcare provider required
