RN or LPN Medical Inpatient FT Days
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for the 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm) and requires working every 4th weekend. The role involves direct, comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Innovation Unit is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas and cares for a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions. It is an opportunity for new graduates and experienced nurses alike, with seasoned nurses sharing their expertise.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required

- Every 3rd weekend rotation for NAs

Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
- Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
