About The Position

LifeScape is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our pediatric setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide care for children and young adults with complex medical, developmental, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities in a safe, loving, home-like environment. Requirements

Registered Nurse: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required. Valid South Dakota RN Licensure required.
Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program required. Valid South Dakota LPN Licensure required.
All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.

Nice To Haves

Prior nursing or direct care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assess and respond to the health needs of children within our residential facility.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for children.
Provide respiratory care and medical support.
Interpret lab values and clinical data.
Communicate a clear picture of a child’s health and any changes in their status.
Perform electronic documentation of medical records.
Educate and guide staff, families, patients, and students.
Promote health, wellness, and safety.
Engage in a variety of meaningful, exciting tasks that make a difference every day.
Build relationships with our long-term patients and their families.
