About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Operating Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of scrub and circulating experience required
- Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience required
- Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) required
- Active New York State RN License required
- Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration from NYSED required
- AHA BLS Certification required
- AHA ACLS Certification required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients throughout perioperative procedures
- Perform scrub and circulating duties during surgical procedures
- Assist physicians and surgical teams during operative cases
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures as needed
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation according to facility protocols
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and surgical records
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and OR standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
