The RN, Occupational Health Services will communicate effectively, provide superior service, and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of patient confidentiality and informed consent. This role requires teaching and counseling techniques. The position involves administrative duties such as administering clinical services, assisting clinical staff, maintaining medical records, ensuring patient confidentiality, communicating with various hospital departments, referring tasks appropriately, collaborating on objectives, determining goals, and participating in committees. Patient care responsibilities include preplacement screening, testing, emergency first aid, follow-up of injury and illness, working with Infection Control during outbreak management, instructing employees on care, documenting progress notes, using standard precautions, performing Tuberculin Skin Testing (TST) screening and surveillance, and performing Respirator Fit Testing (RFT) and training.
