RN - Observation Unit (Nights)

We are currently hiring an RN for our Observation Unit at Essentia Health Duluth - Miller Dwan. This position will work 0.75 FTE with a 12 Hour Shifts Night Rotation and every third weekend. The shift starts at 1900 and ends at 0730. This is a permanent night rotation position. The compensation range is $45.03 - $68.87.

Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

Nice To Haves

1 year Acute Med/Surg RN experience preferred
Critical Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Acting as a team leader and delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
Contributing to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and in turn serving the community.
Meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission as applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
