About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patients' well-being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care by making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and implementing patient care plans. The position is at Flaget Memorial Hospital, a 52-bed facility in Bardstown, Kentucky. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license in Kentucky, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR), within 14 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 days.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
• Assess patients and analyze problems and conditions using critical decision-making to determine the need for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions.
• Implement or modify plans of care using assessment data, standards of care, and evidence-based practice, including nursing care coordination, patient and family education, and discharge planning.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary partnerships in patient care.
• Integrate ethical provisions into nursing practice and preserve and protect patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Evaluate progress toward desired patient outcomes.
