RN Nursing Supervisor - Labor and Delivery Full Time Nights
About The Position
The RN Nursing Supervisor for Labor and Delivery at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California, coordinates Patient Care Unit activities to facilitate quality patient care in support of the organization’s Mission and Values. The supervisor assumes responsibility for administration of the nursing unit as delegated by, or in the absence of, the Nurse Manager. The Labor and Delivery unit has 17 beds and provides 24-hour on-site OB anesthesia, OB triage, OB operating rooms, and high-risk antepartum care. The unit delivers approximately 185 babies per month. This full-time position works 12-hour night shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Completed Providence in-house nursing training or one year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Three years of experience in the Labor and Delivery specialty.
