About The Position

Well-Spring, a premier Life Plan Community in Greensboro, is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to join our Health Care team. This leadership role works closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations, support nursing staff, and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. We are looking for a compassionate and organized nurse leader who enjoys mentoring staff and creating a positive care environment. Schedule Full-Time Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Participation in the nursing management on-call rotation required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN license in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in senior living, CCRC, or nursing home
  • Experience working with geriatric residents

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
  • Conduct routine rounds on each unit and review the 24-hour nursing report.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
  • Administer and document medications and treatments per physician orders.
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians, families, and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring proper documentation.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff and recommend disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating nursing staff.
  • Respond to emergency calls throughout campus and initiate life-saving measures when necessary.
  • Participate in staff meetings, committees, and resident care conferences.
  • Follow infection control guidelines and facility safety procedures.
  • Assist new employees with training on facility policies and procedures.
  • Identify and report safety hazards or emergency situations.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
