About The Position

St. Mary Medical Center is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead its 26-bed Telemetry Unit, which specializes in the care of cardiac and heart failure patients. The unit consists entirely of private patient rooms and is crucial for delivering high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care. This role offers an opportunity to join St. Mary Medical Center as they advance their cardiovascular service line and pursue Heart Failure Certification through Corazon. The Nurse Manager will provide operational, clinical, and people leadership, driving quality outcomes, colleague engagement, and exceptional patient experiences.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Five (5) years of progressive nursing experience.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, or management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive quality outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related advanced degree.
  • Previous Nurse Manager experience in an acute care setting.
  • Telemetry, cardiac, cardiovascular, or heart failure nursing experience.
  • Experience with quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and patient experience initiatives.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and team development skills.

  • Provide operational and clinical leadership for a 26-bed Telemetry Unit caring for cardiac and heart failure patients.
