Clinical RN-Nurse Educator
About The Position
The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking to hire a self-motivated, outgoing and team-oriented Registered Nurse for a Full-Time Nurse Educator position. Some of your daily activities will include the development, implementation, and delivery of the nursing staff development programs including new hire orientation, in-service education, continuing education, competencies, and nursing student experiences. This is an exciting position and key clinical role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis.
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- College degree in Education or a related field
- 2+ years supervisory and clinical experience in skilled nursing, medical surgical nursing or related field
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior educator or training experience (3+ years preferred)
- Prior experience working with a learning management system (LMS) strongly preferred
