About The Position
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The role is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating the patient-care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
- No experience is required; new graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- One year in a hospital setting for PRN positions.
- Advanced certification in the specialty, if applicable.
