About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse maintains standards of practice and coordinates assigned staff’s patient-care activities to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certification in the specialty field, if applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
