RN - Neuro Stepdown - San Diego - Nights
About The Position
Scripps Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 4th Floor Neuro Step-Down Unit at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest, San Diego. The unit offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on patient-centered care, continuous improvement, excellence, and quality. Nurses with neuro experience or a stepdown background will receive training and education. The role is full-time, 72 hours per pay period, with 12-hour night shifts on variable days of the week, including weekends and holidays. The position is eligible for new-hire and relocation incentives of up to $7,000, subject to eligibility criteria.
Requirements
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current California RN license.
- One year of RN experience, including six months in an inpatient environment.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
- Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of RN experience in Stepdown.
- NIHSS certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
