The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is a Level IV, state-of-the-art, 17-bed intensive care unit designed to care for newborns with the most complex medical needs. Our dedicated and highly trained caregivers deliver world-class patient care through an intricate nursing care model rooted in evidence-based practice, with a steadfast commitment to putting patients first. Our goal is for all professional nursing caregivers to provide the highest quality and safest care possible. This unit also cares for mothers with high-risk pregnancies, including cases in which the mother, fetus, or both present with high-risk conditions. The nursing team actively participates in fetal surgeries and specialized procedures. Our team is at the forefront of obstetric care, performing advanced cases that are available at only a few centers worldwide. A caregiver in this position works full-time| 36hours| day/night rotation| 7:00am—7:30pm or 7:00pm—7:30am.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (must be presented upon hire)
If in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment
One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings OR will consider licensed military RN experience
