About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates patient-care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• No experience is required; new graduates of a nursing program are eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• One year in a hospital setting for PRN positions.
• Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable. Specialty-specific preferred credentials include a Certified Dialysis Certificate (CDN) for Dialysis.
