About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the MedSurg Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within the nursing unit. The role ensures continuity of care across shifts through direct care and supervision of nursing assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and support staff. The RN also acts as a patient advocate and educator and supports the organization’s mission, vision, and values. The position is located at Avita Ontario Hospital in Ontario, Ohio. The listed schedule is 0700–1930, 48 hours per pay period.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification, or obtain it within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of nursing experience.
- Previous telemetry experience.
