About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates assigned staff’s patient-care activities to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Advanced certification in the specialty, if applicable; specialty-specific requirements may apply.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• For PRN positions, one year of experience in a hospital setting.
• For dialysis, Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is preferred.
