The pay range is $40.37 - $72.25 per hour. This role is part of the SEIU 1199-RN and LPN union. Additional compensation includes shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as premiums for standby, charge, float, per diem, certification, preceptor, and San Exam. The job involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient nursing care, promoting continuity of care, and supervising licensed practical nurses, certified nurses assistants, patient care aides, and other support staff. The role requires understanding growth and development across the lifespan and assessing patients' age-specific needs. It also includes patient and family teaching, maintaining professional nursing standards, and supporting the hospital and nursing department's mission and philosophy. The position may involve emergency care and handling crisis situations, with occasional irregular hours.
