This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. This RN - Adult Medical Emergency Team AMET; Cardiac Medical Emergency Team – CMET; Neuro Medical Emergency Team – NMET; and Sepsis Emergency Response Team – SERT) Deliver rapid, high-acuity emergency and critical care services to inpatients, outpatients, employees, and visitors. These specialized teams are dedicated to early recognition and intervention in clinical deterioration, helping prevent cardiac and respiratory arrests before they occur. In addition, they lead interdisciplinary education and training for emergency response and serve as a vital clinical resource supporting nurses and primary provider teams through expert patient evaluation, real-time decision-making, and advanced care management. With the expansion of the Neuro Medical Emergency Team (NMET) and the Sepsis Emergency Response Team (SERT), we are pleased to offer additional RN opportunities within our Medical Emergency Teams program.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • One year of recent acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • ER or ICU nursing experience
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
  • Educate patients and their families.
