About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with proficiency in telemetry to join our Med/Tele unit. The nurse will work night shifts and will be responsible for patient care with a focus on cardiac and medical telemetry.

Requirements

• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience with basic tele strip reading, TIA, CVA, and total joint replacement.
• Cerner charting system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and document telemetry strips each shift.
• Manage care for patients with CHF, respiratory issues, diabetic conditions, and post-cardiac procedures.
• Administer BiPap, CPAP, and other respiratory treatments as necessary.
• Participate in the self-scheduling shift process with adherence to floating and weekend requirements.
