About The Position
The Med Surg/Tele Pulmonary unit is a 36-bed telemetry unit aimed at diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory disorders. Nurses in this unit are expected to deliver high-quality, specialized care for patients and collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- AL or Compact License (No temporary licenses accepted).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
- Minimum 18 months to 2 years of experience in the field of specialty.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients with respiratory disorders.
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy departments.
- Maintain a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio providing high-quality care.
- Float to other units and hospitals as required.
