About The Position
The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and those requiring surgery both emergent and elective. Patients receive care to the highest standards from registered nurses and nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS and AHA ACLS required.
- Recent Epic experience required.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring required.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
- Orthopedic and Bariatric experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for acutely ill adults and surgical patients in the Medical Surgical unit.
- Ensure highest standards of professional care are maintained.
