About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Tele unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts. Atwood 4 is a 47-bed medical telemetry nursing unit serving patients with multiple medical problems, including sepsis, stroke, seizures, NSTEMIs, heart failure, COPD, atrial fibrillation, and acute or chronic kidney disease. The unit aims to provide comprehensive, collaborative care that optimizes patient care and quality of life while delivering excellent patient satisfaction. Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services, or the unit designee, the RN coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient-care personnel. The RN maintains standards for professional nursing practice and applies the knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate care for the age groups regularly served. This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on a day/evening shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotation. Pay is based on experience, with a listed range of $42.37 to $77.81 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

- Three months of experience is preferred.
