About The Position

The Med-Surg RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with the standards of nursing practice. The nurse will: Assess patients’ conditions and monitor changes Administer medications and treatments Document care accurately in the EMR Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment, and follow-up Advocate for patients and collaborate with the healthcare team Support a positive patient experience and clinical outcomes

Requirements

Minimum 1 year RN experience (acute care experience not required)
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of start date
Active RN license in the relevant state

Responsibilities

Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift
Administer medications and monitor patient response
Respond promptly to patient needs and requests
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatments, side effects, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, medications, and interventions
Act as a patient advocate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
