About The Position
The RN in the Med Surg - Neuro unit is responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care. This involves bedside shift reports and engaging patients and families in their care plans.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- Experience in Med/Surg and ability to prioritize care and multitask
Responsibilities
- Provide care on 3rd Neuro Med/Surg unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Perform tasks involving IVs, basic wound care, surgical drains, nasogastric and chest tubes
- Utilize equipment such as IV Pumps, Telemetry, PCA, and EKG machines
- Participate in documentation using Meditech system
