About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN - Med Surg for an exciting Permanent opportunity in Hudson, FL. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and families. The position requires collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintaining accurate patient records.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN License OR Compact RN License (Compact license holders must obtain Florida RN license within 90 days of hire)
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Recent acute care experience required

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Previous acute care hospital experience strongly preferred
• Candidates with only recent LTAC experience will not be considered

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical information accurately
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records, including test and examination results

Benefits

• Pay Range: $30.00 – $42.00/hr
• Night Differential: +$4.75/hr
• Weekend Differential: +$3.00/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for Day Shift
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for Night Shift
