About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in a Medical-Surgical unit. The shift is a night shift from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week, with a weekend rotation. The unit requires solid color scrubs. ACLS certification is mandatory. PALS is preferred for the first contract but must be obtained if the traveler extends for additional contracts.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- ACLS required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- PALS preferred/optional for 1st contract, but must be attained by traveler if traveler extends for additional contracts
