About The Position

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center that provides a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region. The hospital features a state-of-the-art medical campus and is home to Flight For Life® Colorado. With four trauma rooms, including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, the staff can provide life-saving care to severely ill and injured patients. The hospital has received Magnet designation and numerous other awards, certifications, and accreditations from organizations such as the American Heart Association, Chest Pain Center (CPC), American College of Cardiology, The Joint Commission, Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award, NAPBC Accreditation, and American College of Radiology. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
  • One year experience preferred
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
  • RN License required
  • Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the health care team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

  • $5.75/hr differential for Night Shift RN positions from 11pm to 7am
