About The Position

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center that provides a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region. The hospital features a state-of-the-art medical campus and is home to Flight For Life® Colorado. With four trauma rooms, including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, the staff can provide life-saving care to severely ill and injured patients. Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing required
• Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
• One year experience preferred
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
• RN License required
• Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
• Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the health care team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Benefits

• $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience
• Relocation assistance up to $10,000 for those living greater than 50 miles from the facility
• $5.75/hr differential for Night Shift RN positions from 11pm to 7am
