About The Position

The Float Pool Registered Nurse performs the active nursing process, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients. The nurse may assume the role of Team Leader for part or all of a shift. The position is with Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, where nurses are encouraged to influence patient care through collaborative relationships with managers and opportunities such as hospital councils and nursing initiatives.

Requirements

• Trauma Care After Resuscitation must be obtained within one year of employment start date.
• Nevada (RN) Registered Nurse license required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BCLS certification required.
• Minimum two years of acute care hospital RN experience in Med Surg required.
