About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN Manager to oversee the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Stepdown / Acute Stroke unit. This role involves managing the full responsibilities of an inpatient acute care hospital unit, supervising and managing a 24-hour operation. The manager will be responsible for scheduling, evaluations, resource management, and mentoring staff. They will also be involved in interviewing, hiring, and developing team members to create a highly effective work team and engage in talent retention strategies.

Requirements

  • 3 yrs or more of RECENT Nursing Leadership in a acute care hospital setting REQUIRED
  • Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED
  • RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

  • RN-Master's Degree

Responsibilities
