About The Position

The RN Manager - Emergency Department at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is a Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Day Shift position, Monday through Friday, 0700-1600. This role offers a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates. The Nurse Manager of Clinical Operations is responsible for the 24/7 operations of their defined unit(s), ensuring the quality of care delivered and optimizing healing and wellness. They lead effective care delivery through caregiver engagement, resource management, and accountability. The Nurse Manager also builds and develops effective teams and fosters collaborative inter-professional relationships aligned with Providence Health & Services (PH&S) strategic plans. Providence values its caregivers and empowers them to deliver patient-focused, whole-person care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 5 years Nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree Related field.
  • Coursework/Training Formal coursework in Management, Finance, and other administrative subjects.
  • Upon hire: National Certification from recognized professional organization in relevant field of clinical expertise
  • Management experience.
