RN/LPN, Ambulatory - Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic
About The Position
Sanford Health is hiring an RN or LPN for its Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic. The clinic offers a challenging specialty where nurses can build long-term relationships with patients, use their nursing skills, and help improve patient outcomes. The role is scheduled for 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on day shifts. The RN uses the nursing process to provide individualized patient care. Responsibilities include coordinating care, assessing and educating patients, triaging, and carrying out other nursing interventions. The nurse collaborates with physicians and other interprofessional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care, while practicing within applicable nursing standards, scope, and licensure requirements.
Requirements
- Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
