About The Position

The Congregation of Holy Cross in Notre Dame, IN is looking to hire a PRN Nurse, LPN or RN, to provide care and support to the men residing in our religious community. This role offers a competitive starting pay range of $34.00 to $48.00/hr for RN and $28.00 to $32.00/hr for LPN, with an additional shift incentive bonus for 2nd or 3rd shift. The Congregation of Holy Cross is a community of Catholic, apostolic priests and brothers founded by Blessed Basil Moreau. They are called to be educators in the faith, with a preferential option for the poor, educating both mind and heart in education, parish, and mission. Holy Cross members have founded institutes of Catholic higher education, parishes, and other ministries globally. This includes Holy Cross House, a private, non-licensed facility providing assisted living and skilled care to members of the Congregation.

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience
Current and valid Registered Nurse or LPN license in the State of Indiana
Experience with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting up to 25 pounds
Punctual and dependable
Ability to remain focused while performing multiple tasks and providing leadership
Compassionate, a team player, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

Providing care for the residents of the Holy Cross House.
Learning and understanding the needs of residents, offering interaction in a loving and caring manner.
Providing medical, nutritional, emotional, and/or spiritual care.
Providing nursing care to residents with compassion.
