About The Position

NHC HealthCare Moulton is hiring an RN or LPN for a night position. The role oversees staffing, admissions, discharges, education, tours for prospective residents, and responses to family and resident concerns, along with other assigned duties. The nurse supervises and evaluates nursing staff, monitors care and compliance with policies and procedures, and carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with personnel policies. The position also handles admission, discharge, and transfer documentation; monitors resident lab schedules and results; and reviews 24-hour report sheets and follows up as needed.

The preferred education is graduation from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ASN). The candidate must be licensed to practice in the state, maintain current licensure requirements, participate in continuing education, and maintain CPR certification. Ventilator unit, critical care, or special care experience is preferred. NHC HealthCare Moulton offers a competitive compensation package for full-time employment.

Requirements

• Ability to meet performance requirements.

• Participate in continuing education to maintain knowledge of current nursing trends and developments and meet current licensure requirements.
• Maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities
