About The Position

Pyramid Healthcare is hiring a full-time licensed practical nurse or registered nurse for a night position at its Charlotte Hall facility in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. The role supports behavioral healthcare services, including addiction treatment, mental health recovery, and eating disorder treatment. The hourly pay range is $35–$41 for RNs and $28–$35 for LPNs; shift differentials may apply. The nurse guides LPNs in client care, assesses new admissions, administers medications, implements detox protocols, and conducts COWS and CIWA assessments as required. The role also includes educating clients about medications, coordinating with medical providers, maintaining medical equipment, protecting client confidentiality, and maintaining appropriate boundaries. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances. Requirements

Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certifications.
Successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances.

Responsibilities

Instruct and guide LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments.
Complete initial nursing assessments for new admissions.
Administer medications according to established protocols.
Implement and deliver detox protocols.
Conduct COWS and CIWA assessments for appropriate clients, as required by protocol.
Provide medication education to clients and confirm their understanding of treatment.
Coordinate with medical providers for initial assessments and medication-management appointments.
Maintain medical equipment in proper working order while protecting client confidentiality and maintaining appropriate boundaries.
Perform other duties as assigned.
