About The Position

Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring an RN or LPN to provide full-time overnight, one-on-one skilled nursing care for a young adult in the Bloomington–Normal, Illinois area. The nurse will care for the patient in their home, follow an individualized plan of care, monitor the patient throughout the night, and communicate with the family and Castor clinical team. The role offers independent nursing with 24/7 clinical support, a consistent schedule, and long-term case stability.

Paid, hands-on training specific to the patient’s needs is provided, and previous private duty nursing experience is not required. Virtual interviews and onboarding are available. Starting pay is $35+ per hour for RNs and $30+ per hour for LPNs.

Requirements

• Hold an active Illinois RN or LPN license.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Have CPR certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Bring a dependable and compassionate approach to care.
• Be comfortable working independently in a home environment.
• Have an interest in providing one-on-one pediatric nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the patient’s home.
• Monitor the patient’s condition and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Perform case-specific nursing skills.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in the patient’s condition.
• Follow the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Communicate with the family and Castor clinical team.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation.
