About The Position

Cura of Willmar is seeking an RN or LPN to join their day-shift nursing team at their 78-bed skilled nursing facility, which offers both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. This role provides an opportunity to build relationships with residents, collaborate with CNAs and other nursing staff, and contribute to a team dedicated to excellent resident care. The position is open to nurses with extensive long-term care experience as well as those new to skilled nursing.

Requirements

• Holds a current Minnesota RN or LPN license in good standing
• Is dependable and communicates well with residents, families, and coworkers
• Can prioritize and stay organized during a busy shift
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Provides compassionate, resident-centered care
• Has or can obtain required CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience is helpful, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments
• Completing assessments and monitoring residents for changes in condition
• Communicating with providers, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Providing guidance and support to CNAs and TMAs
• Completing accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Responding to changes in condition and resident needs
• Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
• Participating in shift report and ensuring important information is communicated to the nursing team
• Helping create a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for our residents
