About The Position

Looking for a nursing position where you can get to know your residents, work with a supportive team, and make a difference every shift? Cura of Willmar is looking for an RN or LPN to join our day-shift nursing team! We are a 78-bed skilled nursing facility providing both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Our nurses have the opportunity to build relationships with residents, work closely with CNAs and other nursing staff, and be an important part of a team focused on providing great resident care. Whether you have years of long-term care experience or are looking to bring your nursing skills into skilled nursing, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

Holds a current Minnesota RN or LPN license in good standing
Dependable and communicates well with residents, families, and coworkers
Can prioritize and stay organized during a busy shift
Enjoys working as part of a team
Provides compassionate, resident-centered care
Has or can obtain required CPR certification

Nice To Haves

Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience is helpful, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

Administering medications and treatments
Completing assessments and monitoring residents for changes in condition
Communicating with providers, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Providing guidance and support to CNAs and TMAs
Completing accurate and timely nursing documentation
Responding to changes in condition and resident needs
Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
Participating in shift report and ensuring important information is communicated to the nursing team
Helping create a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for our residents
