About The Position

QLI is the nation’s leader in providing a comprehensive approach to the therapeutic process of individuals recovering from spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries. We are seeking compassionate nurses to provide the best care for our residents. We offer an extensive orientation and mentoring process, even for those without experience in this field. Our nursing team is diverse, with varied backgrounds and skill levels, working collaboratively to help residents in their recovery. We empower our nurses to utilize their education and experience to develop the best therapeutic plans for each resident, encouraging questions and continuous learning.

Requirements

Current RN/LPN license to practice in Nebraska
Current CPR certification
Annual flu vaccine required during flu season
Must not have any condition or limitation that could pose a direct threat to self or others unless such threat can be eliminated by a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to pass a fitness assessment designated for this job title and perform all physical activities related to the position.

Nice To Haves

Experience in dermatology, oncology, hospital settings, or clinics.
New graduates are welcome.
Individuals who have transitioned from CNA to RN/APRN roles.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents recovering from spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries.
Develop and implement therapeutic plans for individual residents.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve resident recovery.
Adapt to resident needs and contribute to their overall well-being.
Maintain regular attendance in assigned role as an essential job function.
