RN/LPN (Full-time 37.5 hrs.) 3pm-11pm
About The Position
The Clinical Nurse Leader (RN/LPN) leads nursing care for household Residents at Mozaic Senior Life. Working with a Household Coordinator and Lead Homemaker, the Clinical Nurse Leader helps create a home-like community and supports Residents’ quality of life, personal growth, and quality of care. The role assumes responsibility for overall care delivery and supports the household team in maintaining quality care and quality of life. The Clinical Nurse Leader performs nursing duties within the scope of practice defined by the State of Connecticut and the RN/LPN role, and provides care in accordance with Mozaic Senior Life’s Core Values. Clinical Nurse Leaders and Household Coordinators also form a Neighborhood Council that guides and supports the households under the guidance of the Vice President, Nursing and the Administrator. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, on the 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shift, including every other weekend. Applicants must have at least one year of experience; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care environment is preferred.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least one year of clinical experience.
- RN or LPN licensure in the State of Connecticut.
- Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Availability for the 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shift, 37.5 hours per week, including every other weekend.
