About The Position
WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and qualified Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide nursing care and support during the summer school session. Requirements
- Current licensure as an RN or LPN in the state of New York.
- Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide health assessments, medication administration, and emergency care for students.
- Support student health and safety throughout the school day.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and incidents.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive student care.
