RN/LPN Private Duty Nursing: All Shifts!

Journey Nursing Services is expanding and seeking to hire RNs and LPNs for various shifts. We offer personalized and holistic private duty nursing, nurse delegation, and nursing pool services. We are looking for nurses for long-term private duty positions and also have an opening for a RN Case Manager with vent experience in North Snohomish & South King County, who would manage care and nurse training for PDN nurses and complete RN Delegation visits. New graduates are welcome.
Requirements
- Current Washington state RN/LPN license in good standing
- Current BLS
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of nursing experience is preferred.
- Vent experience (for RN Case Manager role)
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 private duty nursing, potentially including trach/vent and TPN care.
- See patients in a variety of community settings.
- Admit patients and establish care goals.
- Establish and maintain the plan of care and review progress towards goals.
- Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Assess, treat, implement, and evaluate patients.
- Administer medications according to provider orders.
- Delegate care to caregivers in community settings.
- Provide education to nurses, caregivers, families, and patients.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
