About The Position

Journey Nursing Services is expanding and aims to provide people-centered, holistic care for patients and their care systems. We are a newer, Veteran Owned and operated company that values culture and inclusion, believing everyone deserves great care from qualified nursing staff. We offer personalized and holistic private duty nursing, Nurse delegation, and Nursing pool services. As a growing company, we provide significant growth and opportunity for our employees. We are looking for RNs and LPNs for hourly rates, part-time, per-diem, and full-time positions with competitive pay. We have several long-term Private Duty Nursing positions available in Tacoma & Seattle, and are also looking to hire a RN Case Manager with vent experience for North Snohomish & South King County. In the RN Case Manager role, a nurse could manage the care and nurse training for PDN nurses and complete RN Delegation visits. New Grads are welcome.

Requirements

Current Washington state RN/LPN license in good standing
Current BLS
One (1) year of nursing experience is preferred. WILL TRAIN NEW GRADS

Responsibilities

1:1 Private duty nursing: Potentially: Trach/ vent, TPN
See patients in a variety of community settings.
Admit patients, and establish care goals.
Establishes and maintains the plan of care and reviews progress to goals.
Coordinated Care with providers and interdisciplinary teams
Assess, treat, implement, and evaluate patients.
Administers medications according to provider orders.
Delegate Care to Caregivers in community settings.
Provide education to nurses, caregivers, families, and patients.
Foster a high-performing culture of excellence that drives employee engagement and provides exceptionally reliable, safe, high-quality patient care.
Perform other job-related duties as needed.
