About The Position

South Ogden Post-Acute in South Ogden, Utah is hiring a part-time RN or LPN for an evening medication-pass shift. The shift is approximately 6:00 PM–10:00 PM, with some flexibility in the shifts selected. The role involves administering and documenting medications as ordered, monitoring residents’ conditions, and assessing their needs to provide appropriate care and advice.

Requirements

• Possess a current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Effectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, and visitors.
• Be able to make decisions independently when warranted.
• Have knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures.
• Have a thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Administer patient medication according to physicians’ orders.
• Chart medication administration as required.
• Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide appropriate care and advice.
