About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Working as a member of the nursing team, the LPN collaborates to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to implementing patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support that directly or indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients, families, and significant others.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current healthcare provider BLS certification required prior to completion of orientation.
• Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organization skills.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• No prior job-related work experience required.
